Zusammenfassung

Der wichtigste Prognoseparameter beim Blasenkrebs ist die histopathologische Infiltrationstiefe bei Erstdiagnose. Daher ist eine möglichst frühzeitige Diagnostik elementar. Obgleich sich Frühsymptome nicht immer zeigen, wird gegenwärtig nach wie vor ein allgemeines Screening asymptomatischer Patienten nicht empfohlen. Bei Hochrisikopatienten kann die Feststellung einer Mikrohämaturie zu einer früheren Erstdiagnose führen. Die Zystoskopie mit ggf. transurethraler Resektion von Blasentumoren bleibt weiterhin der Goldstandard. Additiv kann eine weitere Urindiagnostik mit Spülzytologie, Urinteststreifen und neue Urinschnelltests) bei Erstdiagnose angewendet werden. Die Fluoreszenz-in-situ-Hybridisierung spielt bereits eine Rolle in der Nachsorge. Trotzdem kann aktuell dadurch die Zystoskopie nicht ersetzt werden.
