Abstract

Die Regionalanästhesie hat gegenüber der Allgemeinanästhesie eine Reihe von kurz- und langfristigen Vorteilen und sollte der Allgemeinanästhesie vorgezogen werden. Zu diesem Schluss kommt Prof. Alan Macfarlane (Univ. Glasgow) in seinem Vortrag anlässlich des World Congress of Anaesthesiologists 2021.
