Zusammenfassung

In einer Übersicht werden neue Literaturdaten zur alternativen/komplementären Medizin präsentiert. Dabei werden Naturheilkunde, Akupunktur und Homöopathie behandelt. Zusätzlich werden neueste Erkenntnisse auf dem Gebiet der Plazeboforschung dargestellt und in den Kontext zu Akupunktur und Homöopathie gesetzt. Schließlich wird als Synthese zu einer am Patienten orientierten so genannten anthropologischen Medizin geraten, die Alternativen unnötig macht.

Abstract

In an overview new data from the literature regarding alternative/complementary medicine are presented. Naturopathy, acupuncture and homoeopathy as well as new findings in placebo-research and their correlation to alternative medicine are discussed. In addition, as a synthesis a patient-orientated so-called anthropologic medicine is recommended to make alternative/complementary medicine unnecessary.
