Zusammenfassung

Der Fall eines 47-jährigen Patienten mit Diabetes mellitus assoziierter Monoparese des N. peronaeus wird vorgestellt. Hieran wird die Prädisposition von Nerven für eine Kompression an präexistenten Engstellen im Rahmen der Grunderkrankung dargestellt. Diagnostik, Therapie und Verlauf werden beschrieben und im Kontext der Literatur diskutiert.

Abstract

This article presents the case of a 47-year-old patient with diabetes-related palsy of the peroneal nerve, illustrating the susceptibility of nerves to compression in patients with diabetes. Diagnostic evaluation, treatment and clinical course are presented and discussed in the context of the literature.
