Zusammenfassung

Im Artikel werden kurz die wichtigsten neueren Erkenntnisse über die Erkrankung des Erregers Coxiella burnetii, das Q-Fieber, dargestellt. Neben neuen diagnostischen Parametern zur Verlaufsbeobachtung, werden auch die Bedeutung eines frühzeitigen Nachweises eines chronischen Q-Fiebers und die Besonderheiten des Post-Q-Fieber-Fatigue-Syndroms dargestellt.

Abstract

The article summarizes some important recently identified findings about the Coxiella burnetii disease, Q fever. Beside new diagnostic parameters for follow-up issues, the importance of a timely identification of chronic Q fever and the peculiarities of the post Q fever fatigue syndrome are depicted.
