Zusammenfassung

Wir berichten über einen 67 Jahre alten Patienten, der vor 19 Jahren wegen eines Nierenzellkarzinoms behandelt worden war. Ein aktuell durchgeführtes TCT zeigte einen einzelnen vergrößerten Lymphknoten hoch-paratracheal rechts. Eine mittels endobronchialen Ultraschalls mit transbronchialer Aspirationszytologie gewonnene Probe ergab eine Lymphknotenmetastase des bekannten Nierenzellkarzinoms.

Abstract

We report on a 67-year-old male patient who had undergone treatment for renal cell carcinoma 19 years previously. A CT scan showed a solitary enlarged lymph node in the right upper paratracheal region. A specimen was obtained by endobronchial ultrasound with transbronchial needle aspiration. Cytological analysis revealed lymph node metastasis of the late relapsing renal cell carcinoma.
