Babu P. Mohan et al. Efficacy and safety of endoscopic ultrasound-guided therapy versus direct endoscopic glue injection therapy for gastric varices: systematic review and meta-analysis

Systematic review on the efficacy and safety of endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)-guided therapy compared with direct endoscopic glue injection for gastric varices. Both techniques were comparable in terms of treatment efficacy (94 %), recurrent gastric varices (9 %), and rebleeding rate (12 %). Nonetheless, the results suggest that EUS-guided coil and glue injection for gastric varices has superior outcomes.
