Herdförmige Iridocyclitis als (einzige) Manifestation einer erworbenen Toxoplasmose, ätiologisch gesichert durch Titerkurve und Tierversuch

Zugleich ein Beitrag zur Diagnose des Alters einer Toxoplasmoseinfektion durch das «Diskrepanzauswertungsverfahren» und zur Art der in Sabin-Feldmann-und Komplementbindungsreaktion reagierenden Antikörper

Zusammenfassung

Es wird der erste bewiesene Fall von erworbener, toxoplasmatischer Iridocyclitis in der Weltliteratur mitgeteilt und beschrieben. Der Beweis für die Ätiologie wird durch die Titerkurve und den positiven Tierversuch mit den erkrankten Augenteilen erbracht. Der Fall zeigt, daß durch Auswertung des Ergebnisses von Sabin-Feldman-Test und Hauttest (Diskrepanzauswertungsverfahren) die Diagnose des Alters einer Toxoplasmainfektion rascher möglich ist als mit jeder anderen Methode. An Hand des Falles wird nachgewiesen, daß die allgemeine Annahme, Sabin-Feldman-Test und Komplementbindungsreaktion bestimmten zwei verschiedene Arten von Antikörpern, der Grundlagen entbehrt; die Annahme ist auf Verwendung zu schwacher Antigen in der KBR zurückzuführen.
