Zusammenfassung

In diesem Kapitel lege ich dar, wie sich in den allerersten Lebensjahren – ausgehend von der körperlichen Erfahrung des Säuglings mit sich selbst und den anderen – die Grundlagen des Selbst herausbilden. Zuerst erläutere ich, wie das bereits während der Schwangerschaft beginnt. In der weiteren Darstellung liegt der Schwerpunkt darauf, wie in der interaktiven Bedürfnis- und Affektregulation zwischen Kind und frühen Bezugspersonen das Selbsterleben sowie die basalen Muster des Erlebens und Verhaltens, der Stressreaktivität und der Bindung geformt werden.
