Zusammenfassung

Dieses Kapitel soll ein Grundverständnis bzgl. Wechselwirkungen von allgemeiner körperlicher sowie seelischer Gesundheit und der reproduktiven Gesundheit bei Frauen vermitteln. Dabei ist die Darstellung von relevantem Grund- und Spezialwissen für die Beratung von Frauen mit häufigen und wichtigen Allgemeinerkrankungen Ziel. Erkrankungen und deren mögliche Auswirkungen auf die Pubertätsentwicklung, die Fertilität, den menstruellen Zyklus, die mögliche Schwangerschaft und den Eintritt der Wechseljahre werden berücksichtigt. Therapieempfehlungen bzgl. präkonzeptioneller Behandlung und ggf. Hormontherapie bei den Erkrankungen werden anhand von aktuellen Leitlinien und Metaanalysen oder randomisiert-kontrollierten Studien dargestellt. Ein möglicher primärer oder sekundärer Nutzen durch Hormontherapie und/oder Kontrazeption wird für die einzelnen Erkrankungen ebenfalls berücksichtigt. Die normale Ovarfunktion ist das Ergebnis eines abgestimmten Zusammenwirkens zwischen Hypothalamus, Hypophyse und Ovar, einem Funktionskreis, der von vielen anderen Körperfunktionen beeinflusst wird und diese selbst beeinflusst. Ein funktionierender ovarieller Regelkreis setzt voraus, dass die übrigen Körperfunktionen den Regelkreis nicht beeinträchtigen.
