Zusammenfassung
Postinterventionelle Lymphödeme sind im Gegensatz zu klassischen Flüssigkeitseinlagerungen im Gewebe (Ödeme) entzündliche Erkrankungen des Interstitiums als sekundäre Folge der interventionellen Schädigung des Lymphsystems. Als chronische, zur Progression neigende Erkrankungen mit Zunahme von Schwellung und Fibrose erfordern sie nach adäquater Diagnostik eine stadiengerechte Behandlung durch komplexe physikalische Entstauungstherapie. Sie umfasst neben Hauthygiene und Hautpflege die manuelle Lymphdrainage, die Kompressionstherapie einschließlich apparativer Techniken, z. B. pneumatischer Kompression und intermittierender Unterdruckbehandlung, die gezielter Bewegungstherapie und das angeleitetem Selbstmanagement der Betroffenen.
