Muskelerkrankungen und Erkrankungen peripherer Nerven im Erwachsenenalter

Zusammenfassung

Sowohl Myopathien als auch Neuropathien bzw. Neuronopathien gehen vielfach mit Paresen, Atrophien, Hypotonie und eingeschränkter Mobilität einher. Dies kann bereits intrauterin zu verminderten Kindsbewegungen und damit zu Kontrakturen führen. Postnatal führen klinische Manifestationen von Myopathien und Neuropathien zu neuroorthopädischen Krankheitsbildern wie Fehlstellungen, Kontrakturen, Luxationen, Subluxationen oder Arthrosen. Myopathien, die im Erwachsenenalter beginnen oder bis ins Erwachsenenalter dauern und mit orthopädischen Komplikationen einhergehen, sind die Gliedergürtel-Muskeldystrophien, die Emery-Dreifuss-Muskeldystrophie, die myotonen Dystrophien, die myofibrillären Myopathien, die metabolischen Myopathien und einige seltene Myopathien. Unter den Neuronopathien geht vor allem die ALS mit orthopädischen Problemen einher. Bei den meisten hereditären Neuropathien entwickeln sich Fußdeformitäten.
