Zusammenfassung
In diesem Kapitel wird eine Reihe von Arzneimitteln anderer pharmakologischer Gruppen als die Nicht-Opioidanalgetika oder Opioide erläutert, die durchaus geeignet sind, bestimmte Schmerzformen günstig zu beeinflussen. Dazu gehören Antidepressiva und Antikonvulsiva zur Behandlung neuropathischer Schmerzen, Tranquillanzien und Muskelrelaxanzien bei speziellen Muskelschmerzen, Glucocorticoide bei schweren Entzündungen, Triptane bei Kopfschmerzen, Bisphosphonate bei Knochenschmerzen und Substanzen wie Ketamin, Lokalanästhetika, Cannabinoide oder Capsaicin bei verschiedenen Schmerzbildern. Bei rheumatischen Erkrankungen gibt es ganz eigene Arzneimittelgruppen wie DMARDs, wie Methotrexat, und die relativ neuen sogenannten Biologicals, wie Etanercept oder Infliximab. Diese Substanzen haben andere Angriffspunkte als die Analgetika. Lokale Methoden sind die Anwendung von Lidocain- oder Capsaicinpflaster.
