Zusammenfassung
Im vorliegenden Kapitel werden Human Factors als Wissenschaftsfeld und Anwendungsdisziplin definiert und die Ebenen von Human Factors vorgestellt. Mit Simulation können Human Factors auf unterschiedlichen Systemebenen angesprochen werden, insbesondere die Schnittstellen zwischen Menschen, technischem Teilsystem und Organisation. Nichttechnisc he Kompetenzen sind ein wichtiger Teil der Human Factors, sollten aber nicht damit gleichgesetzt werden, um eine einseitige Fokussierung auf Verhaltenssicherheit zu vermeiden. Simulatoren können über das wertvolle Training der nichttechnischen Kompetenzen (CRM/ACRM) hinaus auch genutzt werden, um Bewusstsein für weitere Aspekte von Human Factors zu schaffen. Zudem kann die Arbeit mit Simulatoren durch gezielte Überprüfung von Technik und Arbeitsprozessen dazu beitragen, die Arbeit in Krankenhäusern stärker nach Human-Factors-Aspekten zu gestalten
