Zusammenfassung
Die traumatischen Ösophagusverletzungen lassen sich in der Regel in Fisteln (traumatisch bedingt bzw. postoperativ), Rupturen (Wandberstungen) oder Perforationen einteilen. Dabei können posttraumatische Fisteln als innere bzw. äußere Fistel sowie komplett bzw. inkomplett verlaufen. Traumatische Ösophagusrupturen können auf dem Boden eines Barotraumas entstehen, wobei häufig der distale Ösophagus betroffen ist.
