Zusammenfassung

Das vorliegende Kapitel fasst Beiträge aus der Bildgebungsforschung zusammen, die mittlerweile zu einem konsistenten Wissen gereift sind. Hierbei werden Aspekte der strukturellen, aber auch funktionellen Bildgebung berücksichtigt, um dem Leser zu ermöglichen, die Fülle an Literatur, die in den letzten Jahren entstanden ist, bezüglich ihrer Relevanz für die Ätiopathogeneseforschung psychiatrischer Erkrankungen zu bewerten. Selbstverständlich ist Wissenschaft im Fluss, trotzdem wird versucht, darauf hinzuweisen, welche Befunde gut repliziert werden können und welche Befunde im Wandel sind oder möglicherweise im Folgenden nicht mehr repliziert werden können.
