Zusammenfassung

Anorektale Prolapsformen sind häufige proktologische Befunde. Generell wird der Begriff »Prolaps« rein deskriptiv verwendet, es ist jedoch notwendig eine exakte Diagnostik hinsichtlich der erhobenen Befunde (z. B. Vollwandprolaps vs. Mukosaprolaps, Rektumprolaps vs. Analprolaps, innerer vs. äußerer Rektumprolaps, Prolaps des hinteren Kompartiments vs. kompletter Genitalprolaps) und der möglichen assoziierten Symptome durchzuführen, da die verschiedenen Prolapsformen unterschiedliche Behandlungsstrategien bedingen.
