Zusammenfassung

Die Identifikation und der Umgang mit NSSV und suizidalen Verhalten sind für den Kliniker höchst relevant, bedenkt man, dass gerade diese Verhaltensweisen zu jenen gehören, die die meisten Notvorstellungen im Bereich der Kinder- und Jugendpsychiatrie und Psychotherapie bedingen. Im Rahmen dieses Kapitels soll einerseits zunächst der Blick darauf gelenkt werden, wie der klinische Umgang mit Patienten, die NSSV oder suizidales Verhalten zeigen, zu gestalten ist, um einen möglichst gelingenden Gesprächskontakt herzustellen. Darüber hinaus werden standardisierte Verfahren zur Einschätzung von NSSV und Suizidalität besprochen, die häufig ihren Platz auch in der Erforschung dieser Verhaltensweisen finden.
