Zusammenfassung
Im Rahmen der zirkulären Bioökonomie (im Folgenden CBE; engl. Circular Bioeconomy) hat der Einsatz von Biomasse zur Gewinnung von Biokraftstoffen das Potenzial, Treibhausgase zu reduzieren, CO2-Kreisläufe zu schließen und dabei gleichzeitig Mobilität in der Gesellschaft zu erhalten. Hierzu ist es jedoch notwendig zu prüfen, wie Geschäftsmodelle für Biokraftstoffe gestaltet werden sollten, um den Kriterien einer CBE bestmöglich zu entsprechen. Das Design eines solchen CBE-orientierten Geschäftsmodells wird in dem vorliegenden Beitrag anhand des Fallbeispiels „Super E20“ (d. h. 20 % Ethanol-Beimischung zu fossilem Kraftstoff) als Nachfolger von E10 untersucht, dessen Einführung derzeit diskutiert wird. Hierzu werden zunächst relevante Kriterien einer CBE in Bezug auf Bioethanol erörtert. Darauf aufbauend wird ein Business-Modelldesign für das Fallbeispiel Super E20 diskutiert. Hierzu wird auf das Framework nachhaltiger Business-Modelle zurückgegriffen und die Mechanismen der Value Proposition, Value Creation, Value Delivery und Value Capture für ein CBE-orientiertes Geschäftsmodell Super E20 diskutiert. Da eine besondere Herausforderung von Business-Modellen der CBE oftmals in der Wirtschaftlichkeit liegt, wird auf den Aspekt Value Capture im Besonderen eingegangen.
