Abstract

Not infrequently, patients present to the plastic surgeon with a variety of complaints and deformities which re-quire surgical correction. When the deformities are confined to a single operative field - for example, the face - then it is easy to imagine how two or more aesthetic plastic surgical procedures could be performed simultaneously, e.g. face lift and blepharoplasty. It is perhaps more difficult for the inexperienced surgeon to contemplate combined surgical procedures which involve more than one operating field, e.g. face lifting and mammoplasty.
