Zusammenfassung

Es wird nur auf die Antibiotika eingegangen, die in Deutschland eine therapeutische Rolle spielen. Nicht eingegangen wird auf Mupirocin, da dieses nur in Nasensalben verwendet werden sollte, vor allem zur Bekämpfung von Methicillin resistenten Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) Besiedelungen in der Nase. Um Resistenzinduktionen vorzubeugen, sollte eine dermatologische Behandlung unterbleiben. Nicht ausführlich besprochen wird auch Nadifloxacin, das in Japan als Spezialität zur Verfügung steht, nicht aber in Deutschland. Auch Kanamycin bleibt außer Betracht, da es in Deutschland ausschließlich in Ophthalmologica verwendet wird.
