Zusammenfassung

Obwohl bereits eine größere Anzahl an psychotherapeutischen Interventionen für Patienten mit beginnender Alzheimer-Demenz und ihre Angehörigen beschrieben wurde, gibt es nur für einige Einzelinterventionen ausreichende empirische Evidenz. Dazu gehören der Aufbau angenehmer/strukturierter Aktivitäten, das Training des Angehörigen in Verhaltensmanagement sowie Interventionen für den Angehörigen. Während ein ausführliches Gedächtnistraining in den Tätigkeitsbereich von Neuropsychologen fällt, scheint die Integration eines Trainings externer Gedächtnishilfen in ein psychotherapeutisches Programm zumindest deshalb wichtig, weil diese Gedächtnishilfen im Verlauf der Psychotherapie immer wieder angewendet werden. Weitere sinnvolle Interventionen in einem umfassenden Psychotherapieprogramm, für die bisher aber noch zu wenige Evaluationsstudien vorliegen, sind ein strukturierter Lebensrückblick, die kognitive Umstrukturierung sowie die Paarberatung/-therapie.
