Zusammenfassung

Während im Psychodrama die subjektive Wirklichkeit des Protagonisten durch Handeln exploriert wird (psyche = Seele, drama = Handlung), ist das Soziodrama ein Instrument zur Darstellung, Analyse und Veränderung sozialer Wirklichkeit (lat. socius = der Andere). Damit ist das Soziodrama prädestiniert für Einsatzfelder wie Teamentwicklung und Teamsupervision, Konfliktmoderation, politische Bildungsarbeit oder Gruppenpsychotherapie. In diesem Kapitel werden unterschieden: das themenzentrierte Soziodrama (bei dem es um die Erarbeitung eines Themas mit didaktischer oder pädagogischer Zielsetzung geht), das gruppenzentrierte Soziodrama, bei dem die sozio-emotionalen Strukturen und Prozesse der Gruppe im Fokus stehen, und das soziokulturelle Soziodrama, mit dem Dynamiken zwischen verschiedenen gesellschaftlich relevanten Rollen simuliert werden können, um das Verständnis für diese Dynamiken und ihre Verflechtung mit dem Erleben und Handeln des Einzelnen zu schärfen.
