Zusammenfassung

Zwar ist bei der pharmakologischen Behandlung psychischer Erkrankungen nach Möglichkeit immer eine Monotherapie mit einem Präparat bzw. Wirkstoff anzustreben, doch wird in der Praxis der Psychopharmakotherapie häufig die Gabe mehrerer Arzneimittel notwendig (z. B. zur Therapie komorbider Erkrankungen oder aufgrund unzureichenden Ansprechens auf eine Monotherapie).
