Zusammenfassung

Eine Vielzahl moderner anästhesiologischer Verfahrensmöglichkeiten ermöglicht ein äußerst sicheres Vorgehen, das individuell abgestimmt auf die jeweilige Operation, deren voraussichtlicher Dauer, das Alter des Patienten, seine Vorerkrankungen, aber auch persönliche Wünsche zugeschnitten sein sollte. Grundsätzlich sollte die Abwägung verschiedener Anästhesie- und Schmerztherapieverfahren nach dem Prinzip „Kosten-Nutzen-Risiko“ erfolgen.
