Zusammenfassung

War vor noch ca. 30 Jahren die Standardtherapie bösartiger kniegelenksnaher Tumoren die Oberschenkelamputation, so können heutzutage nahezu alle Patienten beinerhaltend operiert werden. Solange die Regeln der weiten Resektion gemäß Enneking et al. (1980) eingehalten werden, ist die Lokalrezidivrate vergleichbar mit der nach ablativen Verfahren (Campanacci et al. 1981), so dass Amputationen oder Umdrehplastiken kaum noch notwendig sind.
