Zusammenfassung

Das kognitiv-behaviorale, psychodynamische, humanistisch-existenzielle und sozial-interpersonelle Modell beleuchten jeweils mit unterschiedlichem Zugang die Entstehung und Behandlung seelischer Störungen. In einem biopsychosozialen Modell lassen sich diese Theorien integrieren und mit dem biologisch-medizinischen Ansatz in Einklang bringen (»nature and nurture«). Die Neuropsychologie beschreibt die wesentlichen kognitiven Grundlagen psychischer Prozesse. Die Entwicklungspsychologie und Entwicklungspsychopathologie stellen die notwendigen Voraussetzungen bereit, um die Entstehung seelischer Störungen zu verstehen und zu erklären.
