Abstract
‘Nutrition plays an important role throughout life in determining bone health. After the attainment of peak bone mass, the right balance of nutritional factors is important to minimize the bone loss that naturally occurs over time. A summary of the evidence on specific components of the diet such as calcium, dietary protein, minerals, and alcohol and their effect on bone health is presented in this chapter.’
