Abstract
Aneurysmal fibrous histiocytoma is a low-grade fibrohistiocytic tumor. It is considered an uncommon variant of benign fibrous histiocytoma.

LAMTOR1 (late endosomal/lysosomal adaptor, MAPK and MTOR activator 1) encodes a protein involved in amino acid sensing and activation of mTORC1, a signaling complex promoting cell growth in response to growth factors, energy levels, and amino acids. PRKCD encodes a member of the protein kinase C family of serine- and threonine-specific protein kinases (involved in a range of cell functions).
