Abstract
The “world” of soft tissue tumors (including sarcomas and benign neoplasms) is highly complex because of the high number of different histological types, each one characterized by specific features in terms of epidemiology, pathology diagnosis, clinical behavior, therapy and biomarker pattern (of both diagnostic and therapeutic value). This textbook is designed as a practical reference covering all these areas for each single soft tissue tumor. The consistent and user friendly format will ease the access to the information needed by the reader, who is also provided with up-to-date and authoritative literature sources necessary to deepen any aspect of interest.
