Abstract
This chapter describes the development of a comprehensive multimodal treatment program for adult ADHD by a specialized team at PsyQ in the Hague, the Netherlands. The treatment process from diagnostic assessment to discharge and relapse prevention is described, including the responsibilities of the different employees for each part of the process. The different treatment paths for adults with ADHD with and without comorbidity and social impairments are described, as well as the groups that were developed. The patient learns to formulate treatment targets, and the whole team cooperates to get the best result for the patient, meaning that doctors must be able to coach and psychologists must have knowledge of the medical treatment. The frequency of consultations with doctors and coaches is described as well as the duration of treatment. The progress of the treatment is regularly evaluated and discussed in the team, and decisions about discharge or continued treatment are made there.
