Abstract
Experience so far has clearly shown the limitations of conventional methods in dealing with extravasations. Especially splitting the intervention into disciplines that act independently from each other can result in contradictory therapeutic measures that will yield inconsistent documentation. The extent of knowledge also varies within the departments that administer chemotherapy.
