Verbesserung der Lebensqualität bei Zerebralparesen

Neue Grundlagen und Behandlungsmöglichkeiten aus der Hand eines Teams

Zusammenfassung

Aktuelle Studien zeigen, dass die Lebensqualität von Kindern und Erwachsenen mit Behinderungen hauptsächlich durch unterschätzte Schmerzen des Bewegungsapparats beeinträchtigt wird, dass für Schmerzfreiheit, Mobilität, Selbständigkeit und Teilhabe permanente Unterstützung und Behandlung notwendig sind und dass die Anzahl an Zentren und multiprofessionellen Versorgungsnetzwerke nicht ausreicht.
Neue Ansätze zur Behandlung von Kindern und Jugendlichen mit Bewegungsbehinderung durch Screening- und Präventionsprogramme, Bewegungs- und Kräftigungstherapien, motorisches Lernen und neue Operationstechniken führen zu einem neuen Behandlungskonzept. Die kombinierte Behandlung aus der Hand eines Spezialteams mit minimalinvasiven und belastungsstabilen operativen Verfahren, perioperativ angepassten Funktionsorthesen und einer frühen postoperativ beginnenden robotikunterstützten Lokomotionstherapie kann als eine von Kindern aller Altersgruppen gut akzeptierte und rasch funktionsverbessernde Behandlungsmethode mit signifikant positiven Auswirkungen auf die Gesamtentwicklung bezeichnet werden. In spezialisierten Zentren kann diese Kombinationsbehandlung aus der Hand eines Expertenteams angeboten werden. Voraussetzungen sind gemeinsame neurologisch-neuropädiatrisch-neuroorthopädische Screening- und Präventionsprogramme, die Diagnostik entsprechend der „international classification of functioning, disability and health“, die Bewegungsanalyse sowie ein einheitliches medikamentös-orthopädietechnisch-operatives Behandlungskonzept inklusive Rehabilitation, Sport und Patientenschulung. Ein angegliedertes Versorgungsnetzwerk für Kinder und Erwachsene und One-stop-Shops zur Finanzierung von Hilfsmittelversorgungen und Therapien können den Zugang zu Unterstützungsangeboten für alle Menschen mit Mehrfachbehinderungen verbessern.
