War vor 20 Jahren ein entscheidender Eingriff in den Krankheitsablauf einer chronischen Polyarthritis (auch rheumatoide Arthritis RA), Psoriasisarthritis (PsA), ankylosierenden Spondylitis (AS) und anderen entzündlich-rheumatischen Erkrankungen meist nicht möglich, stehen heute den behandelnden Rheumatologen viele Therapiemöglichkeiten für diese Krankheiten zur Verfügung. Dies trifft insbesondere für die RA und die Spondyloarthritiden (SpA) zu, einer durch pathophysiologische Gemeinsamkeiten gekennzeichnete und entsprechend dem Konzeptes der Assessement of Spondyloarthritis International Society (ASAS) die AS, PsA, reaktive Arthritis, SpA mit M. Crohn oder Colitis ulcerosa, juvenile SpA, undifferenzierte SpA und akute anteriore Uveitis umfassende Krankheitsgruppe. …
