Transurethrale Resektion der Prostata unter Verwendung einer suprapubischen Absaugvorrichtung

Eine Vergleichsstudie zum postoperativen Ergebnis bei Prostatavolumen kleiner und größer als 70 cm3

Zusammenfassung

Auch wenn die transurethrale Resektion der Prostata (TURP) den Goldstandard in der chirurgischen Behandlung der symptomatischen Prostatahyperplasie bei kleinen Prostatadrüsen darstellt, werden derzeit bei Prostatavolumina >70–80 cm3 aufgrund des höheren Risikoprofils invasivere oder kostspieligere Interventionen empfohlen. In dieser kombiniert retro- und prospektiven Studie evaluierten wir die perioperativen Komplikationen und postoperativen Langzeitergebnisse von Patienten mit einem Prostatavolumen <70 cm3 und >70 cm3 nach TURP unter der Verwendung einer suprapubischen Absaugvorrichtung. Hinsichtlich Komplikationen und funktionellen Ergebnissen fanden sich keine signifikanten Unterschiede zwischen den beiden Gruppen. Die Modalität der monopolaren TURP bewährte sich damit auch bei Prostatavolumina >70 cm3 als ein sicheres und effektives Verfahren.
