Zusammenfassung

Fettstoffwechselstörungen sind sehr häufig und spielen in der Entstehung und Progression atherosklerotischer Prozesse eine wichtige Rolle. Sie können wirksam behandelt werden, neben der Umstellung des Lebensstils spielen medikamentöse Interventionen eine ganz entscheidende Rolle. Vor allem im Rahmen der Phase II und Phase III Rehabilitation können sowohl Patienten in der Adhärenz gefördert werden als auch eine entsprechende Adaptierung der Medikation erfolgen. Hier ist die Rehabilitation gefordert, da in keinem anderen Versorgungsbereich die Möglichkeit besteht, Patienten über einen Zeitraum von mehreren Wochen klinisch beobachten zu können. Dies kann auch genutzt werden, um Medikation und die Indikationsstellung für PCSK9 Hemmer oder eine Lipoproteinapherese kritisch zu hinterfragen.
