Zusammenfassung

Dieser Artikel präsentiert Inhalte einer Fallstudie über einen 28-jährigen Patienten, der an einer paranoiden Schizophrenie erkrankte und wiederholt stationäre psychiatrische Behandlungen benötigte. Im Rahmen der Therapie des Patienten kam es zu zahlreichen, auch monatelangen, stationären Aufenthalten auf einer psychiatrischen Abteilung. In diesem Artikel soll das Phänomen der „Drehtür“ innerhalb der Psychiatrie näher beschrieben werden als auch Parallelen zu dem beschriebenen Behandlungsweg des Patienten gezogen werden. Dabei soll unter anderem anhand des Fallbeispiels beschrieben werden, wie der Übergang in ein therapeutisches Wohnheim gelang und welche Herausforderungen beim Übergang in ein ambulantes Behandlungssetting überwunden werden mussten.
