Symptome des Restless-Legs-Syndroms (RLS) können durch viele unterschiedliche Faktoren ausgelöst und verschlechtert werden. Diese Faktoren frühzeitig zu erkennen und, wenn möglich, auch zu beseitigen, ist daher von entscheidender Bedeutung für den Therapieerfolg. Die meisten Patient*innen benötigen keine Pharmakotherapie, da ihre Symptome selten auftreten und auch mild ausgeprägt sind. Bei schwereren Verlaufsformen stehen gut wirksame Medikamente zur Verfügung, die zu einer deutlichen Besserung der Lebensqualität führen. …
