Pulmonale Metastasen: Die Rolle der Chirurgie

Zusammenfassung

Etwa 30 % aller Patienten mit einer malignen Grunderkrankung entwickeln im Laufe ihrer Erkrankung Lungenmetastasen. Neben palliativen Resektionen bei Hämoptysen, Thoraxwandinfiltration oder Retentionspneumonien gibt es für einige Tumorentitäten bei Einhaltung festgelegter Prinzipien einen kurativen Therapieansatz. Die Entscheidung darüber, ob eine radikale Resektion (R0) möglich ist oder nicht, ist Aufgabe des Thoraxchirurgen. Da aber derzeit noch keine klare Evidenz über die optimale Therapie pulmonaler Metastasen existiert, sollte für jeden Patienten ein individuelles Therapiekonzept in einem interdisziplinären Tumorboard festgelegt werden.
