Wirkfaktoren in der Multifamilientherapie bei Patienten mit Essstörungen

Kritische Würdigung und Folgerungen für die Praxis

Zusammenfassung

Multifamilientherapie (MFT), die Behandlung mehrerer Familien gleichzeitig, ist eine etablierte Psychotherapiemethode, die bei einem weiten Spektrum von Diagnosen eingesetzt wird. Allerdings ist das Wissen über die genauen Wirkfaktoren dieser Behandlungsmethode begrenzt. Es wird die Entwicklung der MFT als eigene Therapieform dargestellt und die bisherigen Anwendungen in der Behandlung von Patienten mit Essstörungen. Dabei werden bekannte Wirkfaktoren kritisch gewürdigt, neue Wirkfaktoren diskutiert und die praktische Anwendung in der MFT im Rahmen einer stationären Behandlung von Jugendlichen mit Essstörungen gezeigt.
Bisher nicht betrachtete Prozesse in der Großgruppe wie Affektansteckung, Affektverstärkung und Subgruppenbildung und die Arbeit mit der Meta-Familie werden erstmals im Kontext der MFT beschrieben und stellen möglicherweise Mediatoren im Therapieprozess dar.
Das Modell der Affekt- und Prozessresonanz in der Einzeltherapie von Plassmann lässt sich gut auf die Prozesse in der MFT anwenden und stellt über die Herstellung von Episoden sicherer Bindung möglicherweise einen eigenen Wirkfaktor dar. Eine weitere Forschung über Wirkfaktoren in der MFT ist von praktischer Relevanz.
