Zusammenfassung

Bericht über 152 konsekutive Fälle, bei denen nach Kataraktextraktion eine Iriscliplinse nach Binkhorst implantiert wurde. In 36% der intrakapsulär (123) Augen und in 45% der extrakapsulär (29 Augen) operierten Fälle bestanden für 3-4 Tage erhöhte Augeninnendruckwerte bis zu 40 mmHg. Ein Pseudophakie-Pupillarblock-Glaukom trat nicht auf. 14 Tage postoperativ war in keinem Fall mehr eine antiglaukomatöse Therapie erforderlich. Ähnlich wie bei der herkömmlichen Aphakie war der Augendruck in 6% der Fälle noch 8 Wochen postoperativ auf subnormale Werte herabgesetzt.

Summary

Within the past three years intraocular Binkhorst lenses have been implanted in 152 consecutive cases. In 36% of the intracapsularly operated cases (123 eyes) and 45% of the extracapsularly (29 eyes), intraocular pressure increased to 40 mm Hg for three to four days postoperatively. Pseudophakic-pupillary block glaucoma was not observed in any of the cases. Fourteen days postoperatively no case required glaucoma treatment. As in normal aphakic eyes, intraocular pressure dropped to subnormal values 8 weeks postoperatively in 6% of the cases.
