Zusammenfassung

Für die zykloplegische Untersuchung von kleinen Kindern verwendet man viele verschiedene Mittel. Atropin, Cyclopentolat, Tropicamid sind die bekanntesten. Auch Phenylephrin, ein adrenergisches Mittel, hat eine gewisse zykloplegische Wirkung. In dieser Studie haben wir die zykloplegischen Wirkungen von Atropin mit Cyclopentolat, Tropikamid und Phenylephrine (CTP) in Kombination verglichen. Wir haben skiaskopisch gefunden, dass der Unterschied der zykloplegischen Wirkung von CTP und Atropin statistisch insignifikant ist.

Summary

Atropine is thought to produce the most effective cycloplegia in early childhood. Cyclopentolate and Tropicamide are the best known short acting cycloplegic agents. Phenylephrine is an adrenergic agent and has also a cycloplegic effect. In this study we compared a combination of Cyclopentolate, Tropicamide and Phenylephrine with Atropine and observed no difference between them.
