Abstract

The Kind-Philipp Foundation invited a group of 46 experts to participate in a workshop on clinical Pharmacology in the field of paediatric oncology and to discuss the basic assumptions, the state of the art, and future perspectives. Questions on the adequacy of treatment, drug combinations, individually adapted dosage, and treatment control, as well as strategies and perspectives in the development of new drugs were discussed with a view to application in the paediatric field and in paediatric malignancies. Zusammenfassung

Auf Einladung der Kind-Philipp Stiftung bot ein Workshop einer Gruppe von 46 Teilnehmern die Gelegenheit auf Expertenebene die Grundlagen, den aktuellen Wissensstand und zukünftige Perspektiven der klinischen Pharmakologie in der pädiatrischen Onkologie zu diskutieren. Neben Fragen der rationalen Therapie, Medikamentenkombination, individuellen Dosierung und Therapiesteuerung wurden vor allem Strategien und Perspektiven der Entwicklung neuer Medikamente aus pädiatrischer Sicht und für kindliche maligne Erkrankungen diskutiert.
