Paraneoplastische cerebelläre Degeneration (PCD) – eine interdisziplinäre Herausforderung in der Neurologie, Onkologie und Palliativmedizin

Zusammenfassung

Paraneoplastische neurologische Syndrome sind der Überbegriff für eine sehr heterogene Gruppe an neurologischen Krankheitsbildern. Die Variante der paraneoplastischen cerebellären Degeneration findet sich dabei gehäuft bei gynäkologischen Tumoren, Bronchialkarzinomen und Hodgkin Lymphomen. Das folgende Fallbeispiel beschreibt den typischen Verlauf dieser Erkrankung inklusive der Herausforderungen in Diagnosestellung und Therapie. Es wird zudem die Bedeutung der interdisziplinärer Zusammenarbeit zwischen Neurologie, Onkologie und Palliativmedizin für die Prognose und Symptomkontrolle beleuchtet.
