Neues zu Biologika und „small molecules“ in der Rheumatologie

Zusammenfassung

In rasantem Tempo schreitet die Entwicklung neuer Substanzen in der Rheumatologie voran, und ebenso zügig gelangen neue Substanzen zur Zulassung. Nach TNF-α-Inhibitoren kristallisieren sich Interleukin-Hemmer und „small molecules“ wie Januskinase(JAK)-Inhibitoren als neue Therapieoptionen heraus. Bisher zugelassene Biosimilars als Nachahmungsprodukte bereits am Markt befindlicher Biologika werden als gleichwertig zum Originalprodukt gesehen und bewirken gleichzeitig eine Einsparung im Gesundheitssystem.
