Verteilungsungerechtigkeit in Bezug auf Schmerztherapie ist ein weltweites Problem [6]. Die Unterschiede bestehen zwischen Ländern mit hohem Einkommen und solchen mit mittlerem und niedrigem Einkommen wie auch innerhalb einzelner Länder basierend auf Faktoren wie Rasse, Geschlecht, biologischem Geschlecht, Ethnizität, sozioökonomischem Status und Alter [5, 19, 24, 30]. Versorgungsunterschiede in der Schmerztherapie sind in Ländern mit niedrigen Einkommen auffallender, da ungleicher Zugang zu von etablierten Schmerztherapien besteht und die schmerztherapeutische Ausbildung ungenügend ist [7, 11]. Diese Barrieren zur Schmerzversorgung werden noch komplexer, wenn sie in Zusammenschau mit dem Einfluss sozioökonomischer Faktoren und soziokultureller Umgebung betrachtet werden. Diese beeinflussen die Schmerzempfindung und tragen zu individuellen Unterschieden zwischen Populationen bei, die bereits stark von Schmerzen belastet sind [2, 17, 28, 30, 33, 34]. …
