Zusammenfassung
Die Zerstörung des temporalen Lidwinkels erfolgt hauptsächlich durch Malignome, seltener traumatisch. Die Rekonstruktion in diesem Bereich muß vor allem funktionelle Aspekte berücksichtigen. Es wird auf eine empfehlenswerte Operationsmethode hingewiesen, die es auch bei größeren Defekten gestattet, ohne Anwendung komplizierter Tarsokonjunktivallappen und ohne den Nachteil zweizeitiger Verfahren ein zufriedenstellendes kosmetisches und funktionelles Resultat zu erzielen.
Summary
Extensive eyelid malignancies sometimes destroy the entire temporal canthus. In such cases it is especially difficult to close the defect by plastic surgery and, above all, to restore the function of the eyelids. A convenient method of canthus reconstruction without the need for complicated tarsoconjunctival flaps and without the disadvantages of a two-stage procedure is described.
