Zusammenfassung

Unter der TAI (transanale Irrigation) versteht man die Spülung des Dickdarms mit Wasser nach Art eines Einlaufs, um eine möglichst vollständige Entleerung zu erzielen. Die wesentlichen Indikationen sind alle Arten von schwerer chronischer Obstipation wie auch von fäkaler Inkontinenz. Kontraindikationen sind akute Erkrankungen des Dickdarms oder kurz zurückliegende Operationen in diesem Bereich, sowie Querschnittslähmungen oberhalb von Th6. Die Anwendung erfolgt 2‑ bis 3‑mal pro Woche mit einem für den jeweiligen Fall geeigneten System. Die Schulung erfolgt durch den spezialisierten Pflegedienst KSB (Kontinenz- und Stomaberatung).
