Zusammenfassung

Die Vereinbarkeit von Berufs- und Privatleben kann eine große Herausforderung in der aktuellen Arbeitswelt für Beschäftigte darstellen. Die vorliegende Arbeit fokussiert diese Thematik und gibt zunächst einen Überblick über die theoretischen Grundlagen der Konfliktforschung im Kontext Vereinbarkeit von Beruf und Privatleben. Darüber hinaus werden der aktuelle Forschungsstand mit Bezug auf Einflussfaktoren und mögliche gesundheitsrelevante Konsequenzen vorgestellt. Praktische Implikationen und Handlungsmöglichkeiten für Unternehmen werden aufgezeigt.

Abstract

Finding a balance between working life and personal life can represent a great challenge for employees in the current working world. The following article focuses on this and gives an overview of the theoretical principles of conflict research in the context of compatibility of work and private life. Furthermore, the current state of research with respect to influencing factors and possible consequences relevant for health is presented. Practical implications and possibilities for actions by employers are demonstrated.
