Zusammenfassung

Es kristallisiert sich immer mehr heraus, dass es sich lohnt, beim Management von Diabetes mellitus geschlechtsspezifische Aspekte zu berücksichtigen. Dies gilt sowohl für Diagnostik und Therapie als auch in der Prävention und beim Umgang mit Komplikationen.
